revaMy last trick is to use open firmware, but on my machine this is password protected. to disable password protection, i need to insert the osx 10.4 disc, which i can't do because i can't eject the cd, which i can't do because i can't boot into open firmware....and round and round we go.. To open the second optical drive on a power mac g4 (mirrored drive doors) computer, press option-eject on the apple pro keyboard. open the eject application found in the eject extras folder. the eject extras folder is located in the apple extras folder on the cd..
