Install twrp recovery on your htc vivid. 1- open the folder where adb and fastboot are located on your computer and copy the twrp recovery file on the adb folder. 2- rename the twrp recovery file to recovery.img. 3- in an empty area, hold down the shift key and right-click with the mouse, the context menu will contain an entry open command window here.
Not so long ago, htc pushed the android ice cream sandwich update to its vivid smartphone users. as soon as the update arrived, the developers began working to root the said firmware. within a few days, the developers achieved root access on htc vivid running ics..
